Ask yourself a simple question: “What has Congress or anyone associated with Congress done for you?” Have they solved Immigration? Gun Control? Global Warming? Affordable Health Care? Our national debt? Or any other issues that are so long overdue? I heard it summed up this way: It’s a battle from the start and that is exactly what we are facing as Bootcongress.org embarks on a mission to change the way our government works and save this Nation that we love. It is the people of the United States that make this country so incredible; NOT the politicians or the various departments that make up the government.

Congress IS THE PROBLEM. Many blame the President, but it is Congress who we elect and pay to make laws for this great land …and they have failed us all. They have not done their job. Congress should have fixed the many problems our country faces without the infighting, worthless investigations, party politics, flying around the world for stupid trips, and their focus on getting rich and powerful from the office they hold.

 

Our congress has been broken since the founding of our country! From the terrible problems General George Washington had getting supplies for the Continental Army to the Bridge to Nowhere, to the scandals and the pork spending for which congress is so famous. It’s time to Take the Politicians Out Of Politics. The only way to achieve this is to put all our Government on Term Limits. Executive Branch, Congressional Branch and the Judicial Branch.

 

From the very first day someone is elected to either the Presidency or Congress, every action taken is one working on re-election; not the business of the United States! Some judges are even appointed for life; this alone removes any accountability to “We the people”

 

Our Congress (House and Senate) have committed “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” against “We the People” of the United

States of America, “Abuse of Power and Abuse of the Public Trust”. Congress spends billions of our dollars on wasted programs and they do not give a DAMN about We The People …. Meaning you and I.

 

If we limit the terms further on the President, and implement term limits that Congressmen and Congress women can serve, they will not worry so much about re-election and MAYBE, just maybe we can actually elect people who will govern this country and put the United States above their own SELF-INTEREST.
